Our Lodges all enjoy beautiful views to the front over the golf course fishing lake and Wyre forest and to the rear through ancient Oak trees to the fields grazed by cows that supply our Milk and Cream.
Shropshire is renowned for its quality artisan food producers and in Cleobury Mortimer we not only have the Dairy farm next door we have a Free Range Egg Farm, the award winning Hobsons Brewery, Ashley's Traditional Baker, Hem's Family Butcher and Sarah's local Fruit and Veg Shop. So you can really keep your food miles to a minimum!!
Don't forget for a small additional cost we can even provide a welcome pack of local produce to help settle you in.
Not only is the Shropshire countryside a workplace for local Farmers it is also a beautiful and peaceful place to visit and when staying in the lodges you will see plenty of wildlife. Buzzards, Woodpeckers and many other smaller birds live in the trees behind the lodges and while walking in the area you may well see Hares, Foxes, Badgers and the Fallow Deer that live in the forest but very often come out to graze on the golf course.
Many of our guests like nothing more than to sit outside and watch the sun go down over the Clee Hills and enjoy a quite drink in peace and quiet. If you would like to eat outside we have a BBQ available.
